Leather products such as backpacks, duffel bags, and laptop bags are popular due to their durability and stylish appearance. To maintain their quality and extend their lifespan, it's important to take proper care of them. Here are some tips on how to do so:

  • Keep it dry: Avoid exposing your leather products to water or moisture. If it gets wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry naturally.

  • Avoid direct sunlight and heat: Leather products can crack and fade under direct sunlight or heat. Keep them away from direct sunlight, or any other source of heat.

  • Clean it regularly: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away any dust or dirt from the surface of your leather product. For more stubborn stains, use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution. Always test the soap solution on an inconspicuous area first.

  • Moisturizing The Leather: To keep leather products like new and in good condition, moisturizing & conditioning is essential. At BUKS, we moisturize our leather products using sustainable and environmentally-friendly vegetable oil prior to delivery. After receiving the product, we recommend moisturizing the leather every 6 to 12 months using a leather conditioner or vegetable oil that is specifically designed for this purpose, which can be found in the market. This will help maintain the quality of the leather and ensure it stays supple.Leather products benefit from a good quality leather conditioner. Apply a small amount to a soft cloth and gently rub it onto the leather product in circular motions. This will help to keep it soft and supple, and also helps in keep the shining as new.

  • Store it properly When not in use, store your leather product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Use a dust bag or cover to protect it from dust and dirt. If you find a stain on leather you must remove that instantly or as soon as possible because it dries out the natural oil of leather and results in the cracking. Clean the stained area with a soft sponge.

By following these tips, you can keep your leather backpacks, duffel bags, and laptop bags looking great and in top condition for years to come.
